Reflection on Today!
We really learn a lots about certain features that where new to me today. I learn to use the program website call Blogger. It is a really cool site to interact with other members on the TeachUp! team. I was able to create a Gmail account which offered a lot of cool features. This email account provided me with access to a calender, instant message, cool gadgets, and the document program that lets you create spreadsheets, powerpoints, and some similar to Word, and etc. The last thing we discussed in class was the podcast. This was a neat feature that let you use audio to also communicate with individuals using technology. I am really looking forward to learning more new ideas and programs later on this week. I feel these are some helpful tips to help me become very successful in my internship and some skills that can become very useful later on in my life.

Jessica,
ReplyDeleteWeren't the podcast great? I had never worked with one before. I think that it can be very useful to many teachers. My daughter is a very smart girl, but I don't like the tone of her voice when she reads. I think that I will use podcasts to let her hear what I hear. I hope it that the teachers will see the beauty in it, also.
I agree with Tonya, the podcast is a very interesting program that will be very helpful in the local school classrooms.
ReplyDeleteI agree Jessica! Google really has a lot of features to offer and makes using google more interesting rather than just using it as a search engine. The podcasts were cool also. I had never done one until today and it was very interesting.
ReplyDeleteThe podcast were great! I enjoyed hearing my beautiful voice!! LOL! I also enjoyed all the cool features that came with gmail also!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see that you're enjoying the new tools that we are introducing. Please let us know if you have any questions about them. Also, you should begin thinking about how you're going to incorporate these tools into the classroom. Isn't it great how many features google mail has?
